Workshop Schedule

We’ll check in at the Center beginning at 2pm on Sunday, July 18, with the retreat officially beginning with dinner that night. Workshops take place on Mon/Tue/Wed from 9am-4pm, with a one-hour lunch break from 12-1pm. The classrooms will remain unlocked the entire time, allowing you to work on your projects whenever you like! The retreat will wrap up after breakfast on Thursday morning, July 22.

Meal Schedule

Breakfast 8am-9am
Lunch 12-1pm
Dinner 6pm-7pm

Meals are offered buffet-style in the Dining Hall, where we’ll be eating together as a group. The food is delicious, and they use fresh ingredients from their UC Master Garden whenever possible. They offer a salad bar at lunch and dinner, and there’s a beverage station available as well.

Gatherings

SUNDAY 7:30 pm—we’ll gather in the Assembly Room for a brief Welcome and introduction to the instructors, as well as offer a few giveaways to kick off the week.

MONDAY 7:30 pm—Artist Sale/Reception. The instructors will be selling original art and we’ll have a couple of vendors with art supplies as well. You’ll also have the opportunity to bid on original art pieces in a Silent Auction, with proceeds to benefit the Presentation Center.

TUESDAY afternoon/evening—we’ll coordinate rides into Los Gatos for those who wish to check out the shops and restaurants in town. It’s also a great place to take photos, with some interesting architectural elements. Or you may wish to stay at the Center and work on your projects, spend some time outdoors, or hang with friends. It’s up to you!

WEDNESDAY 7:30pm—we’ll wrap up with a Show and Tell, sharing the art we’ve created and our experiences of the past few days.
